Customer’s Dilemma and Target

Allan works in ADT as a MIS Engineer. ADT corporation expands its scale up to three remote offices, but ADT needs to share all the remote offices’ data with main office.

　

Micronet Solution

Micronet engineer discussed with Allan and verified the network environment and their constraint such as ISP service, budge, support ability, and made the strategy as following：

• Only the main office has the static IP ISP service, all remote offices use dynamic IP service.

• All the office sites use SP881 broadband VPN firewall router due to the VPN tunnel stability and security issue.

• Every remote office applied a DDNS service account according to the dynamic IP service (www.dyndns.org). Configure and enable the DDNS service.

• Installed the third party VPN application (SafeNet offered from Sprint) for the VPN construction.

All the remote locations can establish the VPN tunnel and share the data with central office if there is ISP service. All the configuration tasks are finished during 3 days and work properly.
