Hilton in Jamaica has 4 buildings with 30 rooms each. They want to provide Internet access service in each room for the guests, but the network rewiring project and cost make them hesitate about the project execution.

　

Micronet Solution

After several detailed discussions and evaluations of the Hilton hotel environment constraints and
cost-effective factor, Micronet decided the VDSL solution for them :

• 120 x Micronet SP3501S: used in every room, provide internet access and phone service.

• 8 x Micronet SP3510-16 VDSL Splitter: isolate the VDSL data from POTS and ISDN signals.

• 8 x Micronet 3516 VDSL management switches: manage the VDSL LAN and link to the Internet access Point.

• SP3356 Wireless ADSL Modem/Router: provide internet access

All the management switches, splitters and SP3356 are located in central office for management task easily.
