Micronet SP684A Gigabit switch offers practical Ethernet switching solutions for enterprises and business. The 24 Gigabit ports provide the fat pipe to the server or backbone connectivity for boosting the total system performance and allowing non-blocking throughput where it needed. Also, it is perfect for graphics, multimedia, and other applications that have to move large files across the network quickly. In addition to the cooper ports, one of the ports supports fiber connection with the equipped Mini-GBIC ports for obtaining long-distance communication.

All ports support auto-uplink detection, so users don´t have to worry about the cable type. Each port will automatically communicate for best speed and to run in half- or full-duplex mode. Store-and-forward switching prevents damaged packets and network errors from being passed on into the network.
