"You can adjust the dial up tone via TA COMMAND. The COMMAND can be set under ""HyperTerminal"". Then key in the AT COMMAND, press ""Enter"" then close Hyper Terminal. The AT COMMAND as follows:
ATL0 --- close
ATL1 --- low

Top Why SP3008U cannot install properly?
The problem is due to the USB interface. USB devices have to uninstall from “Control Panel=>Add/Remove hardware”or follow the standard uninstallation process of their own standard process. If not, it will influence next USB devices’ installation. The only way is to reinstall the former USB device and uninstall again. Please note that the device has to plug to the same USB port by the same device. If not, the problem still remains.

Top I have the problem that under the fax program WinFax PRO. I always get the message that the capi2.0 driver of SP3200 is not able to send or receive.
Please install RVS-COM lite to have virtual COM Port. We bundle it as our Fax amd Modem device supports fax transfer functions (optional). After installed RVS-COM lite please remember to open the CommCenter of RVS-COM, and then install modem based fax software such as WinFax Pro. The software will install a virtual COM port on your system such as COM3. After the installation please remember to run the CommCenter of RVS-COM lite then you can start to install the COM PORT based software such as WinFax Pro. While you are installing the fax software please select the ISDN fax port of RVS-COM.

The USB interface is compliant with USB 1.1 standard. It can work well with either USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 port. However, Windows XP has some compatible problems with USB 1.1 device so please visit Microsoft web site to download Service Pack 2 for Windows XP. Install the program in the system and reinstall SP3202 again then it will work fine.

The function needs to install software for help. Please install the bundled software RVS-COM. If the RVS-COM is V1.12 or later, its RVS printer driver can send the G3 fax. It is easier than Microsoft Fax. If using Microsoft Fax then check its property from Control Panel / Mail and Fax / Microsoft Fax / Properties. The MODEM is selected to be "RVS Faxd ISDN FAX G3", thus it can work well.
