• Plz tell me that SP891 will support how many PCs at a time ….

• I have murged two ISP link in SP891 router. I am facing problem in sending mails (uploading) using outlook express or throught WEB.Brousing i.e http and downloading mail through web is ok. Both ISP links are running on Static interface and load sharing is 50 % for both. Kindly inform me if i have to make any more setting in this router to solve my uploading problem.

• Let say I will use two ADSL line 1024MB speed for each, product # SP891 Multi-WAN Security Gateway, is the client will be able to download files with 2048MB ? or it will give only 1024 for first session then another 1024 for second session ?

• Plz tell me that SP891 will support how many PCs at a time ….
  It may be evaluated from two point of view.
  
  1. the bandwidth for Internet surf:
  2. the NAT throughput for each PC
  In general case, it should be acceptable to assign 2~2.5 Mbps throughput for each PC. About Internet surf, 200~400Kbps will be the acceptable connection speed.
  
  SP891 gets 50Mbps NAT throughput so it accepts 20~25 PCs on the network.
  If SP891 connects two 1M/64K service lines and suppose one of third users access Internet at the same time then it accepts arrond 15~30 PCs.
  To avoid unpredictable peak time, use 80% CPU capacity will be better. Then 20~25 PCs will be the number.
  
  If any server for email/web or FTP, it will be better to have a dedicated line for the server and 2Mbps or larger is ideally. On the other side, leave 30 % CPU capacity for the server. Then 15~20 PCs will be the number.
  
  All the above is the theoretical value, it does not predict if any special application on the network such as P2P or online game.

  You can access web and receive mail so the Internet setting should be correct. The problem is the Outlook setting. From Outlook Properties, check the send and receive server, ask your mail account provider how to set it and the protocol used. In general case, receive server uses POP3 and send server uses SMTP. Check the loadbalance setting on the router, both protocols should be defined to go through the router. Set them and try it again.

  The bandwidth can not be accumulated to one application. You have to set the two applications running through the different WAN port, otherwise, the two applications will share the one 1024Mbps and the other 1024Mbps gets no loading.
  
  If the two applications have been set to go through the different WAN port then each of them can get 1024Mbps.
